For multiple choice tests, after reading the question, ask yourself if you know the answer BEFORE you look at the answer choices. If not, rule out those you know are wrong, then re-read the question carefully to find the best answer.

Read for pleasure every day. It doesn't have to be a book; it can be anything at all... a magazine, a blog, a website, song lyrics... anything that sparks your interest.
